Will I receive a military medical discharge after knee surgery?

if the surgeon who is a civilian feels my knee is unfit for military duties due to unstableness as well as prior surgery in the same knee. PCL reconstruction... He is putting all this information in his final evaluation. How will this affect the outcome from military doctors?
