Do people wear North face jackets to the antartica?

I've got a North face McMurdo parka (550 down fill Hyvent) and i was wondering how good are north face products compared to what the "professionals' use. For example do researchers wear North face jackets on expeditions to the North pole, antartica, everest...etc.
